A dramatic infrared image of a stoic Cypress tree among fallen relatives. Point Reyes peninsula is located about 30 miles above San Francisco. Beyond the fantastic visitor’s center, you will need to dive another half hour or so to reach the end of the cape. If the lighthouse steps are open and you’re in decent shape – give it a go. Regardless, the landscape is spectacular. This image and Cypress Study #1 were made on one of the farms that you’ll pass along the way. |
