This is the very last image I made on my 2008 Chasing the Moon trip out west. Although the smiling man-in-the-moon type rock at the bottom of the image is responsible for the title, I wasn't really aware of this at the time as my attention was focused on the clouds, of which I’d seen very few during the week I was working in the region. Valley of Fire State Park is less than an hour from Las Vegas, NV and is a very worthwhile destination. |
