This image is from a billboard campaign by the organization Care®. The weathering creates strong graphic elements and suggests a reality that is likely the antithesis of the intended message. When I came across an intact billboard several weeks later, I was impressed by the strength of the original image, but still couldn’t help but wonder if Does She Have a Voice? isn’t closer to the truth than I am Powerful. Let’s hope not. |
