In this image from Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada I made use of two portions of my 5-in-1 reflector. The black portion was used to separate the plant from the background, and the translucent portion was used to soften the harsh mid-day desert light. Be cautious when near this plant as the very small and fine spines can be hard to see and quite agitating. I still find them in my gear more than a year later. |
